How The Process Works
Know the Order of Things and Work the Order
Open Title
Contracts, earnest money, introductions to all parties.
Clear Title
Process title and clear any title defects e.g. Surveys, HOA/Mortgage payoffs/Taxes.
Schedule Closing
Receive / approve preliminary closing docs, pick a day and time to sign.
The process is very straightforward, we contact you, schedule the appointment, and get closing docs prepared to sign! When you use Citizen Title to sell or buy your home, we will be prepared to give you service with a smile. There will be fast and expedient service.
It usually takes a month or so to close the sale through a title company. But sometimes we can do it in as little as 3 days, just depends on the deal or maybe you need a month or two to move out – we understand – you can close whenever you are ready. This keeps the process simple and quick.
Lastly, rest assured we will hold your hand through the entire process using our automated state of the art closing software system, Qualia, where you can share docs confidentially and communicate with all parties.
